To give you improved protection the Bontrager Velocis helmet comes with MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). MIPS was developed by brain surgeons and scientists to allow your helmet to move slightly on impact to help reduce rotational forces on the brain and absorb part of the shock. If you do crash in the first year of ownership Bontrager will give you a new helmet free. To make sure you get a good fit the Velocis comes in three sizes and has a Boa Dial fit system so you can easily adjust the helmet.
