Meaning Brick, in Italian, the Mattone is Silcas award winning seat bag powered by the BOA Closure System. With the Mattone Grande, Silca have now created a bigger brick with 77cm3 of internal volume, more than 2x the volume of the original Mattone.The Mattone Grande is capable of holding up to 3 road tubes along with 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tire levers and a multi-tool. It can also easily hold up to two 29x2.5 MTB tubes along with CO2, levers and Multi-tool.The Mattone Grande is ideal for those long adventure rides or races where you must be prepared for everything. Similar to the original Mattone, a high friction Hypalon strap with BOA Closure completes the package. Making more than 15x the power of Velcro, the BOA Closure uses a ratcheting mechanism that will not creep or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact.
