The Fabric Scoop Race Shallow Saddle has won multiple Best in Test awards. Its one of Fabrics mid-range saddles using titanium rails to bring in a saddle that weighs just 248g. Fabrics unique three-part construction strips away the compression and tension found in traditional hard, stretched-cover saddles. They do this by bonding a waterproof microfiber straight onto a flexible base, allowing them to use a softer foam. This is a light durable and hard wearing saddle. Fabrics design their saddles to be used for all types or riding, they dont make specific road or mountain biking saddle, rather they focus on how you like to sit on the bike. The Shallow profile used in this saddle has a more rounded rear section and medium padding. This profile is for riders leaning forwards, in a more natural riding position; typically the handlebars will be slightly lower than the saddle with the riders weight being split between the saddle and handlebars more evenly, requiring less padding on the saddle.
