The Specialized Centro MIPS is intended for commuters and city riders. Its an easy-to-use, one-size fits all helmet, with a lightweight in-moulded shell construction so it sits comfortably on your head. The all around reflective webbing helps increase your visibility to motorists when riding in traffic. The rear vent on the Centro has been specifically designed to have locks put through it so you can lock your helmet to your bike when you get to work. The latest version of the Specialized Centro helmet comes with MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). MIPS is designed to protect your childs head from glancing blows by allowing the helmet to move in a controlled way on impact. This helps to absorb some of the force of a crash, reducing the shock to the brain. Once MIPS has absorbed the initial shock the in-moulded helmet shell will then absorb the bulk of the force. Overall this dual system gives a safer helmet. Features One-size system, designed for easy and accurate fit to a wide range of head sizes. Headset SX fit system with micro-adjustable dial for easy, secure, and accurate fit. 4th Dimension Cooling System optimizes ventilation. In-moulded shell improves strength and reduces weight. Tri-Fix web splitter for improved comfort and ease of strap adjustments. All around reflective webbing and decals for increased visibility to motorists in low-light conditions. Patented clip-on visor included. Lock compatible rear vent accepts both cable and U-locks to deter theft. MIPS-equipped. Fit system is ANGi crash sensor ready.
