The Tacx Blue Matic Folding Turbo Trainer is one of Tacxs entry level turbo trainers. It comes with 10 levels of resistance which can be adjusted using a handlebar mounted switch so you can vary your workout as you go. The Blue Matic Trainer folds up for transport or storage and doesnt require any mains power so it can be used in for pre-race warmups or training while you travel. Although the Blue Matic is not a Smart trainer you can link it to the Tacx Cycling app, Zwift or TrainerRoad by adding the Tacx speed and cadence sensor (sold separately). This will send your speed and cadence up to the virtual training platforms but wont send any feedback in return. If you are looking for an entry level turbo trainer that you can use in a variety of situations then the Tacx Blue Matic is a good value option. Out of the box this trainer will work with road bikes with most standard road and mountain bikes.
