Unlike other ebike models like Rise or Urrun, weve equipped Kemen withthe standard software to offer great power. You can climb the steepest grades or carry theheaviest loads, even when fully equipped.Orbeas engineering team has combined this motor with the 540 Wh battery released in itsaward-winning Rise. The batterys interior is comprised of 21-700 cells that optimize energydensity. In other words, it houses more energy in less volume. Its complete integration in theframe reduces the weight of the set and improves frame stiffness, which translates intobetter and easier bike handling.All this also results in unbeatable efficiency, achieving high autonomy ranges of up to 5hours of pedaling. Additionally, Kemen and Kemen SUV come with the option of mounting a252 Wh Range Extender.To charge both batteries, the internal battery or the Range Extender, it is only necessary touse Orbeas smart charger. This charger extends the life of the battery up to 30% byadapting the charge to 2 or 4 amps based on different factors such as temperature, the stateof the cells or the number of charge cycles consumed.All-terrain geometry and premium aluminum frameThe geometry of a bike is what makes it stable or twitchy, balanced or unstable, and isespecially important for a bike designed to carry loads. Kemen offers a comfortable andstable position, with easy and intuitive handling.Both Kemen and Kemen SUV have two frame versions, Top Bar and Mid Bar, which havedifferent advantages. The Top Bar version offers maximum frame stiffness, ideal for theroughest trails and heaviest loads. The Mid Bar frame makes life much easier when the bikeis fully loaded, while improving accessibility to the bike. The Top Bar version is available insizes S, M, L and XL, while the Mid Bar version is available in sizes S, M and L.The premium aluminum frame is manufactured through Orbeas hydroforming process anduses triple butted tubing. Thus, the wall thickness is perfected at specific points of the frameto reduce weight and reinforce any areas subject to greater tension.As if that wasnt enough, Orbea has applied polished welding technology, giving animpeccable finish and improving the performance of the frame. The display and control cable are routed inside the handlebar, while the brake wiring isrouted through a cover on the stem.To move safely through the streets, both versions include lights at both the front and rear.Additionally, the rear light emits more lumens when braking to warn drivers of your actions.To complement these lights, an additional spotlight is included and is controlled from thehandlebars.Kemen also comes standard with a kickstand strong enough to support the bike even whenloaded.
