TheCrank Brothers Synthesis XCT 29er Carbon Wheelset are MTB's first tuned carbon wheel system for cross country/trail riding and racing. Synthesis is a tuned and optimized front and rear specific carbon wheel system that addresses the specific performance requirements and loads of mountain bike riding. A compliant tuned front wheel to enhance control and handling characteristics through increased dampening while maintaining the wheels contact patch. The front wheel is balanced with a stiff tuned rear wheel. This offers directional stability, anchoring and responsiveness in handling at speed. Crank Brothers Synthesis XCT 29er Carbon Wheelset Features Mountain bike'sfirst tuned carbon wheelsystem forcross country/trailriding and racing. Front and rear specific wheels tuned and optimized to address thespecific performance requirements and loads of mountain bike riding. Compliant tuned front wheel improves handling and maximizes grip and control in turns. Wider inner rim width supports wider tire profile in front, increased volume and contact patch, and rounds tire profile to enhance turning. Stiff tuned rear wheel supports peak loads and enhances stability and tracking at speed. Narrower inner rim width supports narrower tire profile in rear, improves rolling resistance, and sharpens tire edge for grip.
