TheRenthal Apex StemfeaturesRenthal's unique new clamping system which allows much of the Apex Stem body material to be removed, whilst retaining the strength and stiffness demanded by modern, wide handlebars. The clamps are inserted over the small diameter section of the handlebar and slid into the centre, giving a 240deg wrap of the handlebar. The Renthal Apex Stem construction comprises a fully CNC machined 2014 aluminium body and 7075 aluminium clamps. An oversize centre bore, extensive 3-D machining and external webbing maximise structural strength and stiffness and minimise weight. Continuing Renthal's philosophy of giving the customer the choice in set-up, this Renthal stem is available in 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90mm lengths each with the ability to be fipped to give either a +/-6deg rise. The Renthal Apex Stem really doesgive options for riders and bikes of all size, type and style;light enough for XC racing, stiff and strong enough for a 780mm handlebar!
