The Cube Cross RaceCyclo-Cross Bike's aluminium frame is a breed apart. Designed to be both light and tough, we added 12mm thru axles front and rear to ensure that stiffness and steering precision are on the money for race-winning control. A full carbon fork helps filter out high-frequency buz and vibration, helping you to concentrate to the end of the race. And internal cable routing ensures that your gear shifts remain clean and precise from start to finish, no matter how filthy the conditions.Cube Cross RaceCyclo-Cross Bike HighlightsCUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.Advanced Mechanical Forming is a way of manipulating tube shapes to better fulfil their function as part of a frame. Varying cross-sections and external dimensions helps create a smoother look for a frame, but it's also a great way to increase the strength, stiffness and durability of a frame without increasing weight.Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes, but there's no need for them to get in your way. With Internal Cable Routing we've reduced clutter and maintenance by running cables through the frame, keeping them out of the way of dust and water contamination or damage from abrasion as well as cleaning up your bike's appearance.
