Usually however, your bike is already fitted with a complete crankset. Wouldn t it be great if there was a power meter available that fitted your existing crankset to cut down on the cost This is where Avio s PowerSense comes in. With a simple fitting kit, you can convert your Shimano cranks to give you your power data at your fingertips. Before fitting you should do a quick check to ensure your frame has the required clearance; as the power meter sits proud of the inside of the non-drive side crank arm it may foul on the chainstays of some bikes.Once fitted, you can sync up the PowerSense to any ANT+ compatible device and it can display your love power and cadence data with incredible accuracy with +/- 2% accuracy. Armed with this data, you can train better, allowing you get to get fitter, faster. Or you can just use it to see how close you can get your peak power to the likes of Mark Cavendish and Andre Greipel. Or see how not close you are!
