More than just a physical plug, the DART creates a chemical reaction with Stan's sealant to provide a permanent airtight bond instantly. The material of the DART is also more flexible than other plugs on the market, with its laser-cut shape optimised to contour to the shape of different punctures, maximising surface area to increase the sealing reaction, fixing bigger punctures quicker. Because the DART anchors to your tire and creates an instant bond with your sealant, it also won t pull out while riding the way a conventional plug can. One of the best features of the DART s design is that it doesn t require trimming once inserted, and excess material won t get in the way of your ride. You can t even feel them while riding, even on road tires, and they wear smooth naturally.But Stan's didn't stop with the plugs themselves. Many plug tools mimic the tools used for car tyres and can cause damage to rim tape or even cut your hands. The DART's plastic tip is safer on rims, rim tape and your hands. The tip of the DART Tool is also double-sided and reversible, allowing it to hold two DART plugs on each side, making it possible to install two at once to quickly seal the largest slices and punctures. The clear thread-on cap protects the contents of the tool, keeping them clean and ready to use, while being easy to see through to ensure you have a fresh DART plug ready for when you really need it.
