In bright sunlight, the lens particles react to UV rays, darkening the optics and ensuring additional glare protection. The Light Night lenses fitted to the Amoke classes let through much more light than Tifosis other photochromic. The Amok glasses allow 27.7% light transmission in bright light and 75.9% light transmission in low light conditions. compared to 10 15% and 30- 45% in the rest of the Tifosi range. This extra light transmission means you are protected from the worst of the sun glare and get full UV protection while still letting plenty of light in. Handy if you are riding in the woods a lot in the summer. The Amok glasses are a dynamic full-frame design suited to both road cycling and mountain biking. Larger lenses ensure that frame edges do not obscure vision, while also blocking more wind and letting less light sneak around the frames. The Amoks arms are also double-injection moulded - the Grilamid is injected first, the hydrophilic rubber then injected, and this fuses with the Grilamid for a seamless construction making the arms extremely durable but allowing for greater flex for optimum comfort without compromising grip.
