The Hamax Siesta Pannier Rack Fit Child Seat is on of the most popular seats in the Hamax range. This version is designed to be mounted to a rear pannier or luggage rack. This is perfect for the increasing number of e-bikes, or for bicycles with frame diameters outside 28-40 mm. The Siestas sleeping function allows the child bike seat to be tilted backwards (max 20 degrees) providing the child with a comfortable resting/sleeping position. All Hamax child bike seats are designed to grow with the child via an adjustable safety harness and footrests. Features To be fastened to the pannier rack Fits e-bikes Pannier racks should be approved to carry 25-30 kg (dependent on standard) Fits carriers from 120 180 mm Tube diameters 10-20 mm. Tubes must be round. Adjustable resting/sleeping position (20) Ergonomic sitting position 3-point safety harness with extra chest bracket in order to secure the child in the seat in a safe and practical manner The belt buckles cannot be opened by the child itself Safe and simple to fit For children above the age of 9 months and weighing up to 22 kg Adjustable safety harness and legrests Air Cover available inflatable cushion provides extra comfort and ventilation The carrier adapter is permanently fixed to the seat. Regular Siesta seats with bow and bracketcan therefore not be fitted with the adapter.
