The KMC DLC12 12 Speed Chain in Black and Red is a super durable, top-performance chain that works with SRAM mountain bike and Shimano 12 speed derailleur systems. Diamond Like Coating (DLC) series chains are made with a titanium-carbon-nitride coating and have an extremely hard surface and therefore reduced friction. The result: smooth running, optimum shifting behaviour and, due to the extreme hardness of the pins, an above-average service life of the entire drive. The DLC12 chains also make use of KMC Double X Bridge technology which uses precision chamfering of the inner and outer plates for a perfect shifting performance.
