The Diverge Expert Evo uses the E5 premium. Aluminium Frame And Futore shock 2.0. The Evo's build is MTB inspired, with Shimano XT 1x12 cassete and extra stopping power thanks to Magura MT4 brakes. An X-Fusion Manic dropper post is standard, as well as our latest gravel tire designed for incredible traction, the new Rhombus 42mm, on DT Swiss G540 alloy wheels. The Expert Diverge Evo is Specialized evolved gravel bike built to ride aggressively and push boundaries. The difference is the flat bars and geometry making it even more progressive than the drop bar model. Significantly increase reach, slackened head tube and lower bottom bracket give the rider and more involved planted position. The Diverge will be your new best friend, your cycling partner in crime. Future Shock 2.0 is the ultimate technology and the gravel riders best friend when it comes to comfort. With 20mm of axial compliance and a hydraulic damper, Future Shock 2.0 suspends the rider, not the bike. This keeps you confident and in control, able to keep the power down and stay off the brakes over rough dirt roads and in thick loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms and neck fresh. Since Future Shock 2.0 damper is adjustable, you'll be ready for the rough stuff and efficient on smooth pavement. With the Diverge EVO, we took our new progressive gravel geometry to new levels. Weve lengthened the frame 30mm over a drop bar Diverge (Size Medium), lowered the bottom bracket and slackened the head tube. This gives the Diverge EVO more confidence over technical terrain while keeping the cockpit comfortable with flat bars. It also allows for a short stem to make all that stability feel nimble and quick at the bars. Tyre clearance dictates a lot, so the Diverge has a massive 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1 with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay utilizing a solid beam of carbon behind the chainrings Specialized created clearance without using a fragile dropped chainstay design or increasing chainstay length. This bike perfect forspeeding acrosstechnical single-track to ripping down gravel descents.
