The 2021 Specialized Roubaix Expert Road Bike in Satin Carbon and White is based around the idea that Smoother is Faster. Something that has been proven with seven wins at Paris-Roubaix. Even Specialized admit that has meant some compromises on earlier versions of the Roubaix but the latest, all new version, now delivers compliance without compromise.The Roubaix Expert comes with 20mm of adjustable front suspension via the Future Shock 2.0 gives you more control via a knob atop the stem. This knob adjusts compression from fully-open to stiff, while hydraulically-damped internals control rebound. Add it up, and this latest version will reduce fatigue and increase your speed, no matter the terrain. The new Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem also enhance the aesthetic, so you get a clean transition from head tube to stem.The new Pav seatpost adds comfort at the back to create the most balanced Roubaix to date. With the smooth end of things handled Specialized have also put some serious work into being fast. The new Roubaix has aerodynamics that equal the Tarmac, and a Rider-First Engineered frame thats shed some serious weight. Is it still comfortable? Sure, but dont call it a comfort bike, because performance was behind every engineering decision Specialized have made.The Roubaix Expert comes with Shimano Ultegra Di2 for its powerful hydraulic disc brakes and super crisp 11-speed shifting.
