The Specialized Ambush Mountain Bike Helmet with ANGi gives your head extra coverage without having to wear a full face helmet. So you can comfortably pedal up the hills and then go full throttle downhill. The Ambush ANGi is Specializeds top of the line trail helmet and incorporates two of the latest bits of helmet tech, MIPS and ANGi. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is designed to protect your head from glancing blows. MIPS allows your helmet to move in a controlled way on impact to absorb some of the force of a crash, reducing the shock to your brain. If you are unlucky enough to have a bad crash your ANGi sensor will detect it and send an alert with your GPS coordinates to your emergency contacts. The Ambush Helmet also has the best of more traditional helmet tech including Energy Optimized Multi-Density EPS foam that manages the energy from impacts, and an Aramid-Reinforced Skeleton that provides extra structure. To make sure you get a secure fit the Ambush comes with the Specialized Mindset 360 fit system with five height positions and an integrated dial for on-the-fly tinkering. The Ambush also keeps you cool with the 4th Dimension Cooling System's massive vents and exhaust ports, so you don't have to worry about overheatingeven on the hottest days.
